LEACB, अब हल्का
LEACB अब हल्का हो गया है। पुराना होम पेज एक 3D सीन था — Three.js, ब्लूम, पार्टिकल्स, तैरते पैनल, और एक लोडिंग स्क्रीन, जिसके ख़त्म होने से पहले आप एक लाइन भी नहीं पढ़ सकते थे। उसे बनाने में मुझे बहुत मज़ा आया। पर वह भारी था, और धीमे फ़ोन पर खुलने में काफ़ी वक़्त लेता था — एक पोर्टफोलियो के लिए यह अजीब बात है, जो लोगों से मिलने के लिए ही बना है।
LEACB just got lighter. The old home page was a 3D scene — Three.js, bloom, particles, floating panels, and a loading screen you had to sit through before you could read a single line. I loved building it. But it was heavy, and on a slow phone it took a long time to open — a strange thing for a portfolio to do to the people it's trying to meet.
इसलिए मैंने इसे शुरू से दोबारा बनाया। नई साइट सादा HTML, CSS और थोड़ी-सी वनीला JavaScript है। कोई फ़्रेमवर्क नहीं, मुख्य पेजों पर कोई WebGL नहीं, कोई लोडिंग स्क्रीन नहीं। पेज खुलते ही टेक्स्ट सामने होता है।
So I rebuilt it from scratch. The new site is plain HTML, CSS and a little vanilla JavaScript. No framework, no WebGL on the main pages, no loading screen. The text is there the moment the page is.
लुक भी बदल गया है। अब यह गर्म काग़ज़ जैसी एक “लैब नोटबुक” है — काग़ज़ पर स्याही, एक सिंदूरी रंग, और बीच से गुज़रता दृश्य स्पेक्ट्रम (380–700 nm)। हर सेक्शन एक वेवलेंथ से जुड़ा है — पेज के ऊपर नीला, नीचे लाल। मेरे पोर्ट्रेट के नीचे की रंग-पट्टी भी उसी पोर्ट्रेट से ली गई है।
The look changed too. It's a warm-paper “lab notebook” now — ink on paper, one vermilion accent, and the visible spectrum (380–700 nm) running through it. Every section is tagged with a wavelength, blue at the top of the page and red at the bottom. Even the palette under my portrait is sampled from the portrait itself.
बाक़ी सब वैसा ही है — प्रोजेक्ट्स, सारी पोस्ट, प्लेग्राउंड के गेम्स — हर पेज पर हिंदी और English, दोनों में। ब्लॉग में अब विषयों के फ़िल्टर हैं, और एक नया कर्सर भी है — एक छोटा-सा रेटिकल, जो ठीक पॉइंटर पर बैठता है।
Everything else is still here — projects, every post, the playground games — in Hindi and English on every page. The blog has topic filters now, and there's a new cursor: a small reticle that sits exactly on the pointer.
3D वाला वर्ज़न गया नहीं है। वह /experience पर है — जब आपके पास एक मिनट और अच्छा ग्राफ़िक्स कार्ड हो।
The 3D version isn't gone. It lives at /experience, for when you have a minute and a good graphics card.
